HOW TO SET UP YOUR CLAIM FOR SUCCESS WITH THE RIGHT DATE OF LOSS
On this week’s content Wednesday, I am teaching you everything you need to know about the date of loss, and its importance for the claim’s success.
More specifically, you will learn;
👉 How the date of loss impacts the insurance claims process,
👉 What steps to take to ensure your clients receive fair compensation,
👉 And common misconceptions about the date of loss.
Untrained public adjusters usually get the date of loss wrong in one of two ways.
They either put the date of loss too far behind or even as a N/A because the client was unsure when their water leak began.
What you should do in this situation is to use the date of discovery and argue your client couldn’t have noticed the damage sooner.
And secondly, you might use the latest heavy storm date to explain roof damage, but the insurance will hardly believe you unless you can prove the damage was a sudden and accidental result of exactly that storm.
Now you see how something as simple as the date of loss can quickly become complicated.
I suggest you join me in the video, where we go over everything you need to know about the date of loss and how to use it to set your claim up for success.
