An Enormous Thank You to Everyone, and a Happy 2023!
Thank you, public adjusters, contractors, estimators, and everyone else reading this and following our story and efforts online.
You already know I am not the one for New Year’s resolutions.
Instead, I have BHAGs or big, hairy, and audacious goals.
And that is exactly what this blog post is about.
👉 It is about thanking everyone for their hard work and effort.
👉 And about setting future goals.
Let us get into it!
First, a Thank You to all Public Adjusters!
And not just public adjusters, I want to thank our employees, new and old, who made it possible for Elite Resolutions to grow where it is today.
The same with Commercial Claims Advocate. Without the people creating and editing content, managing everything, and constantly pushing for better, CCA would not be what it is today.
And a special thanks to you, our audience, who are following us on YouTube, subscribing to and reading our newsletters, and reading social media and blog posts.
You are the real MVPs!!
What You Can Expect From the Commercial Claims Advocate
Ever since I started my career as a public adjuster, I noticed a need for creating a resource or a platform where public adjusters could learn how to do their job.
Because, fourteen years ago, that was non-existent.
Fast forward to 2020, we launched Commercial Claims Advocate, a platform where we educate public adjusters through free content like blog posts and YouTube videos.
At the same time, we offer a handbook, video courses, and an occasional Meet Up.
By the way, the meet-up we organized in Miami last year blew up, and everyone had a blast. Keep your eyes open for the next one!
At the end of 2022, we had almost 6000 followers on YouTube. Six thousand subscribers may not seem as much. However, in our industry, it is a tremendous success.
I can honestly say I am happy with our accomplishments.
However, we are not even close to where I want us to be.
My big, hairy, and audacious goal is to use CCA and make everyone know who public adjusters are and why they are necessary for our society.
Because, frankly, that is still not the case.
You will be at a party or door-to-door selling, and when you say you are a public adjuster, people still look at you in wonder.
I want to change that through Commercial Claims Advocate and, at the same time, turn it into a go-to educational platform for public adjusters.
What is in Store for Elite Resolutions
I often talk a lot about how to run and start a public adjusting business.
However, I launched Elite Resolutions in 2021.
I have mostly worked for other businesses in my career so far.
Just in case you sometimes get overwhelmed with all the business content. You should know it is okay to work for another firm, especially if you are starting.
However, you should also know that if you do start your own public adjusting business, it is a lot of fun and a lot of work.
Just this year, we finally got ourselves a physical office and hired a new desk adjuster who handles the “office” side of public adjusting.
We hired a few new public adjusters and launched a stunning new website that not only looks fantastic but also puts us on the map.
Plus, we opened an estimating department.
This means we can manage estimation in-house for all the claims we handle, but we can also offer estimating services to other public adjusters, contractors, etc.
I mean 2022 was truly an excellent year for Elite Resolutions. However, once again, I am not even close to where I want to be.
My big, hairy, and audacious goal for Elite Resolutions is to make it the greatest and most successful public adjusting company ever.
2022 Was Excellent, But Let’s Make 2023 Even Better
In a business sense, 2022 was an excellent year, but I am aiming to do even more in 2023.
I want us to go beyond just public adjusters and contractors with CCA and reach a wider audience.
And for that, I need your help.
My dream to make public adjusters known to America, and to help everyone see the benefits we offer, requires that we all come together and make a difference.
You should make sure you and other public adjusters around you are:
👉 Putting a significant and ethical effort to help the homeowners.
👉 Educating the homeowner on the benefits of working with public adjusters.
👉 Fighting the insurance companies in their efforts to remove public adjusters from the picture.
There is an ethical and professional way we can stay in this business, grow the industry, and help homeowners get the money they need for repairs.
So let’s keep doing what we do best!
It’s time to take full control of your claims. Of your business. Of your life.
A community can help you get there faster. It can offer support during these tough times. Inspiration. Guidance.
Together, we can get you to where you want to be.
What are you waiting for?
